These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website inekawacac.org, operated by Inekawa Conscious Awakening Center (“ICAC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a registered church and religious organization in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
2. Nature of Our Services
ICAC is a religious organization and church that offers spiritual ceremonies, retreat programs, community gatherings, and educational content. Our programs involve the sacramental use of ayahuasca within a protected religious context under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) and the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Nothing on this Site constitutes medical advice, mental health treatment, or a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. All content is provided for educational and religious informational purposes only.
3. Eligibility and Program Participation
Participation in ICAC programs, ceremonies, and retreats is subject to:
- Completion of a health intake and screening process
- Review and execution of a liability waiver and participant agreement
- Approval by ICAC facilitators based on health and safety criteria
- Compliance with our preparation protocols and community agreements
ICAC reserves the right to decline participation to any individual at our sole discretion if we determine that participation may present a safety risk or is otherwise not appropriate.
4. Health Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
Participation in ceremonial and retreat programs involves inherent physical, emotional, and psychological risks. By participating, you acknowledge that:
- You have disclosed all relevant health information accurately and completely
- You have consulted with a qualified healthcare provider if you have existing health conditions
- You assume full responsibility for your own wellbeing during and after participation
- ICAC facilitators are not licensed medical or mental health professionals acting in a clinical capacity
A separate participant agreement and liability waiver will be required prior to any in-person program participation.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, images, graphics, logos, audio, video, and other materials, is the property of Inekawa Conscious Awakening Center or its content providers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, or use any content from this Site for commercial purposes without prior written consent from ICAC. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices.
6. Member Portal
Access to the ICAC Member Portal is restricted to active members. Unauthorized access to member-only areas is prohibited. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
7. Prohibited Conduct
When using this Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or our systems
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
- Impersonate ICAC, its staff, or any other person or entity

8. Donations
Donations made through this Site or associated donation platforms are voluntary contributions to Inekawa Conscious Awakening Center, a registered religious organization. Donations are not refundable except at ICAC’s sole discretion. Please consult a tax advisor regarding the deductibility of contributions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
This Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ICAC makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Site. 10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ICAC, its founders, officers, staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this Site or participation in our programs, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Florida.
Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first contact ICAC in good faith to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
12. Religious Organization Status
ICAC is a recognized religious organization operating under the protections of the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. These Terms are not intended to waive or limit any applicable religious freedom protections. Our ceremonies and sacramental practices constitute sincere religious exercise protected under federal and state law.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
